Community Testing Program

I'm creating a new Community Testing Program (better name pending 😂 ) and looking for community members who want to get more involved in the Hivemapper project. The goal of the program is to improve the thoroughness of testing new software versions before making them generally available to the public. I'm looking for a total of 6 testers, 3 on iOS and 3 on Android. Ideally looking to span many time zones: 2 people in North America East Coast / Central America / South America, 2 people in Europe / Middle East / Africa, and 2 people in Asia / Australia.

To qualify for the program you need to:
- Already have possession of a Hivemapper Dashcam.
- Drive at least once per week between Thursday and Sunday.
- Regularly participate in a private Discord channel to receive testing instructions.
- Submit testing notes and other helpful material (e.g. screenshots) by Sunday night PST. This requires high proficiency in English.

In addition to getting early access to new features, testers will be compensated 🍯 250 HONEY per week for their effort. Tokens will be airdropped during the weekly HONEY runs.

If you are interested in participating, please send me a DM with the following info:
- Mobile device (e.g. iPhone 14 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra)
- Operating system version (e.g. iOS 16, Android 12)
- The city/region where you primarily drive As a reminder, there are only 6 spots available at this time. I will make another announcement once all spots are filled. Looking forward to working with you!

 

공지에 따르면 아시아에서는 한 명을 모집할 것 같다.

테스터 자격은 다음과 같다.

• 하이브매퍼 대시캠을 이미 받은 사람.
• 목 - 일요일 사이에 최소 한번씩 주행하는 사람.

테스터 대상으로 private한 채널이 개설될거고, 테스팅 경험을 일요일까지 제출해야하는데 영문으로 제출해야 해서 영어실력이 어느정도 요구된다고 한다. 보상으로는 주당 250 HONEY 토큰.

 

관심이 있으면 DM에 핸드폰 기종, 시스템 버전, 매핑하고 있는 도시를 보내면 된다고 한다.
